Meet Boudewijn and Davina – Owners of BKN Productions

Digital Movers is growing fast and that would not be possible without one of our key partners with whom we work on a regular basis: BKN Productions. We are very proud and grateful for this collaboration, so it is time to introduce you to the faces behind the company and driving forces of BKN Productions: Boudewijn and Davina.

Tell us who you are!

Boudewijn: “I am Boudewijn Knuistingh Neven, CLO (co-owner) at BKN productions. I am the creative director and I am looking for ways to grow our business.”

Davina: “And I am Davina Lamberts, also co-owner at BKN productions.”

Every company wants to be known, our belief is to get you shown!

Boudewijn and Davina: “BKN-Productions is a video and animation production company. Every company wants to be known, our belief is to get you shown! BKN originates from extreme sports (freestyle MTB). Boudewijn started filming MTB as a hobby. It is very important to switch quickly in order to get a great shot. MTB is a fast paced sport, which means that the shot needs to be filmed dynamically and that has to be done quickly. Therefore, this is also included in our core values, we can act quickly around our customers meaning not a lot of time will be lost. This is something our customers value a lot.

So, we are in the video and animation production and we do everything that comes with it. Our team consists of 10 professionals where the family feeling is high and in the end we are a bit crazy and extreme at times, but we all work very hard!

We work for many different types of clients such as Microsoft, Meta, Google, Obsession, D&B Eventmarketing, Giant, bol.com, Albert Heijn The Mag, New York Pizza, Wolters Kluwer, Vakmedianet, Urban Arrow and many more.”

1 and 1 equals 2, and before we knew it we started working together a lot

Boudewijn: “The bond with Digital Movers goes a while back. I met Mathias at a very beautiful and crazy place in my life: Lapland! We started talking to each other and I told him about my passion for filming and what I was filming at that time. Then I told him about my MTB past and he said he worked at Giant. They say coincidence does not exist. He told me that he was looking for a new company to do video productions. 1 and 1 equals 2 and before we knew it we started working together a lot. When he started Digital Movers, of course the collaboration continued.”

Looking back on the past years of collaboration

Boudewijn and Davina: “Our experience with Digital Movers has always been good. Mathias has a lot of knowledge and knows how to translate this well. For us the highlight of our collaboration is what we achieved together at Max Health Club. A good long-running project, that will keep going for the upcoming years.

I hope that we will work together for a long time and that the projects will only get better and more beautiful.”

“From extreme sports to golf. I know, very different but I enjoy them just as much. I do this with many friends and in the end I also see our company as a hobby.

How do I live life? Try to do something every day that you enjoy. Even though there might be days that are not fun, those days make the good days even better. Do not forget where you came from and appreciate that more often.

There are many more tidbits and facts about me, but then I have to tell my life story and then I might as well make a movie about it.”
